I am sort of a language geek, so I try to speak learn cantonese as much as I can, but it is really hard. Most of the time, as soon as people see I am struggling, they start speaking mandarin, so I don't get a chance to practice. Actually, in GZ you can speak mandarin pretty much anywhere.
